Get to know Stephanie Lanier, Broker-in-Charge and Co-Founder of The Lanier Property Group, the exclusive representative for Leverage Global Partners in Wilmington, New Hanover County, Carolina Beach, Kure Beach, Figure Eight Island, and Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina, USA.

What was your vision in founding LPG?

Andrew and I founded LPG with the (admittedly audacious) vision of changing the real estate industry for both our agents and our clients. We wanted to build a place to work that was so awesome that it would make Mondays our favorite day of the week. We set out to create a world class brand that stood for something more than just profits. We believe businesses can be powerful tools that shape the people and communities they serve.

How has technology, social media and online marketing changed and/or impacted your approach to business?

Social media is a great way for us to stay in touch with our clients. We love using social media to shine the spotlight on our agents, our properties and our community involvement. We view social as a critical piece to the branding puzzle.

What do you love most about working and living in Wilmington, NC?

Wilmington is the best city, ever! We have beautiful clean beaches with warm water, we have a historic district full of southern charm, we have an incredible university full of talent and ideas, we have a film industry and strong arts community that give our town pizzazz. What is not to love?

How do you like to spend your free time - when you have it?

I love to read books. I'm especially fond of business books. I began a business book club to talk through some of the ideas I was sifting through. Apparently there are other business book junkies out there…who knew? When I'm not reading a book, I love to have dinner parties or serve at my church.

How do you think your colleagues would describe you?

Energetic, outgoing, hardworking, driven, whimsical, and fun.

What is your daily "must-do"?

2 large cups of coffee and checking my to-do lists. I am a listaholic…is that a word?
