Get to know Alei Merrill Gothberg, Founding Partner of Amherst Madison Partners, the exclusive representative for Leverage Global Partners in all of Canyon & Ada Counties, including Boise, Meridian, Eagle, Caldwell, Nampa, Kuna, and Star, Idaho, USA.

What was your vision in founding Amherst Madison Partners?

After being successful in the luxury travel industry for 20 years, I wanted to create a real estate brand that focused on distinctive marketing and a unique “concierge” approach to serving clients.

Can you describe a significant turning point in your career?

As a team, we decided to focus on the upper-end real estate market. We invested heavily in the best technologies and premium marketing pieces. Our business doubled in less than twelve months.

How has technology, social media and online marketing changed and/or impacted your approach to business?

It has provided us with an array of channels to showcase our luxury properties. The analytics reveal our typical luxury home listing will generate over 250,000 impressions from all over the globe within 6 months.

What do you love most about working and living in Boise, Idaho?

The ultimate urban/outdoor lifestyle. A hip downtown with immediate availability to outdoor activities; whether it is river rafting through the city on the Boise River or night skiing 45-minutes away on the slopes, the “Treasure Valley” has it all.

How do you like to spend your free time?

Don’t laugh… Besides going on Idaho adventures with my kids, I like making connections with other real estate professionals and getting to know them and their business practices.

How do you think your colleagues would describe you?

That I’m positive-minded, always smiling, and I’m attracted to people with good energy. I’m extremely passionate about our client’s experience. My passion is to be known as the “gold standard” of real estate in the Boise area. Our team wants to be successful, so our clients will have the absolute best results.

What is your daily “must-do”?

Get up early and hit the gym at 5:00AM five days a week. I then go to the office and spend an hour and one half planning the day’s’ activities. I then go back to my home for an hour to have breakfast with my kids before continuing the day at the office with my team.

Name one thing we might not know about you.

I was born and raised on an Idaho egg farm and have been working 12-hour days since I was in my early teens. At this point, hard work is in my blood. Actually, I love real estate so much it never feels like “work”. My clients become my best friends.
