What was your vision in founding/stepping into leadership at Montana 406 Real Estate?

When provided the opportunity to open Montana 406, I embraced the chance to create an environment where clients come first, and a real estate transaction is handled with the highest level of personal care possible. Our industry has become so technologically driven, which is fantastic for marketing, yet we have lost the communication skills that are a necessary part of the business. Being able to provide excellent personal service to the client is at the top of my list, but not the only priority. It is just as important to work with a group of agents with the highest level of ethics and care when dealing with other agents on a daily basis. By being a boutique company we can not only ensure our clients excellent personal service, we can also create a team of agents who are respected in our local market, and are actually a pleasure for others to work with.

Can you describe a significant turning point in your career?

Without a doubt the most significant turning point in my career was taking the leap of faith with Pollyanna Snyder and Bret Snyder to open Montana 406. Not only the excitement of taking the path less traveled as a boutique brokerage, but to see each of us grow throughout the process. With the vast level of knowledge and varied experiences we each have, it seems as though there is no obstacle around that we cannot overcome together.

What do you love most about working and living in Bozeman, MT?

I cannot imagine a better place to live and work than Bozeman, MT. The people here are kind, friendly, and caring. When they ask you on the street how your day is, they genuinely want to know. We also have all the enjoyment of an abundance of outdoor amenities just minutes away. I can take an hour break from the day and be hiking or fishing, in minutes. I certainly do not want to forget the number of art galleries, first rate shows, opera, and concerts that come to town regularly. So I guess for me, Bozeman has all I could ever ask for and more.

How do you like to spend your free time – when you have it?

Montana is a great place to enjoy all that the outdoors has to offer. So when I can get a chance to go hiking, fishing or camping, I will have the truck packed and ready to go in a moment's notice. I really cannot imagine living in such a beautiful place without taking the time to get out of the house and enjoy it which is why I am sure to have a pair of hiking shoes and shorts in the trunk all summer long. You just never know when you will have a 30 minute break for a quick hike.
